In June 2019, I promised to provide you with some images from my travels to Vienna. Given that it’s now April… 2022, it is evident that I lied (to myself, as much as anyone else!).
While the plentiful supply of pleasing photographs may not have materialised – alas the Covid pandemic temporarily took the creative wind out of my sails – I’m pleased to say that I’m feeling closer to my usual self again, and have been busy experimenting light / darkness, and perspective, via the medium of line art.
I hope you like piece, and I’m interested to know if you’ve recently picked up any projects that were put on the back-burner, for one reason or another?

Guess who’s back?
Back again?
Ok I’ll stop…
So I’m back from my trip to Austria’s charming capital, Vienna (separate article on that coming soon, with lots of beautiful images… of course) and I can’t conceive a better way to get back into the “work groove” than with a thud… or several thousand of them.
On that note (pun totally intended), time for some Techno.
Bring the noise Charlotte de Witte… AKA… the Queen of the Techno scene.
Side note – to whomever chose the frame for the video cover image, just well done.

“No one would have believed, in the last years of the nineteenth century, that human affairs were being watched from the timeless worlds of space. No one could have dreamed that we were being scrutinised as someone with a microscope studies creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water. Few men even considered the possibility of life on other planets. And yet, across the gulf of space, minds immeasurably superior to ours regarded this earth with envious eyes, and slowly, and surely, they drew their plans against us…” – Richard Burton
We have reason to believe that those unscrupulous plans may be coming to fruition now. There have been reports that “Alien Body Double(s)” exist among us.
Just think, is your; boss, neighbour, friend, partner, sister, mother, brother, father… dog, cat, son, daughter, builder, bin-man, gardener, window cleaner… (alright I’ll stop there 😬) actually who they say they are?
Terrifying prospect isn’t it.

Love can make you do some pretty outrageous things.
Since first listening to 2Scratch’s “Bonnie & Clyde (Feat. Vanessa Lark)” a week ago, I’ve been unable to pry myself away from my computer. Now my headphones have welded themselves on to my ears and my office chair is the proud owner of a 4″ deep arse imprint.
Also, I really ought to shower… but the track is far too damn catchy!
First world problems 🙄
